In Marfa, Texas, the air is crisp, the sun bright, and blue skies stretch wide over the prairie. It is a place of paradoxes, identified for having a finger on the pulse of the world's most modern art scene as much as its remote detachment to the rest of the world. In venturing here and the nearby White Sands of Alamogordo, New Mexico, photographer Caleb Shane captured the essence of BEIGE in the simplicity and minimalism of the desert.
